Good Intentions

I am all about good intentions!  I have really struggled this week.  I have been meaning to log my days but haven't gotten around to it.  I am going to attempt to play catch-up.
I had a really great run on Monday, but pulled my hamstring doing stretches after.  I can't believe it.  I try so hard not to get injured.  And bam!  I was doing the splits and I felt a sort of pop.  It is so frustrating!  I ran 5 on Wed. with my friend Carrie Woodward (on the treadmill).  She ran an 8 and I ran 2 at 7 and 3 at 6.5.  It was a good run but my ham is still bugging.  I should be doing Carrie's weight class tomorrow at 8:30 but Ry doesn't have school and she has piano at 9:30am.  Dumb!!!  Last week I did her weight class and about died.  She pushes you hard.  She's an elite athlete.  I wish she could coach me!  She has given me a lot of tips and support.  Carrie mentioned that I should be running 35-40 miles a week.  I am running half that.  I need to up my game!!!  I am doing a new smart coach plan right away.
