Marathon Quote by Ryan Hall

It's a long, hard road and it's going to have its bumps; there are going to be times when you fall and times when you don't feel like going on anymore, times when you're just crazy tired but it takes focusing on that one step you're taking. That's what I'm trying to do with the marathon; I don't think about the miles that are coming down the road, I don't think about the mile I'm on right now, I don't think about the miles I've already covered. I think about what I'm doing right now, just being lost in the moment.

Ryan Hall on running a marathon

I'm definitely hitting my "bumps".  Ran 1 mile with Sunny today.  Maybe a 12 minute pace?  But feeling the joy again.  Doing my detox/fat burn diet called "The Ideal Protein Diet"  www.idealprotein.com.  Just found out today that I made the raffle into the St. George Marathon.  I'm lucky.  Not everyone makes it in.  Goodbye Top of Utah, Hello St. George!  I am praying this is my year.  I'm praying that the weather is primo.  When I did it in '08 it was rainy and cold.  Last year it was record high heat.  Please let it be 60 and clear skies this year!

  2. Yeah, I don't think I have 2 marathon's in me...I am good with just one! Plus, there will be two weddings in my family going on this summer...I will be back and forth to Utah for sure! My Aunt Joelyn is getting hitched in July and my cousin Morgan is getting married maybe in August? Crazy! I wish we were coming for the 24th, but Mike and Sheila are coming to visit then...boohoo! I know I will miss Utah bad around the holidays!!
