Went to the gym to do yoga and realized that I missed the class. Felt so dumb. Got up the gumption to do my first kettlebell workout for 40 minutes at home. Need to get it down to 20. It was intense and made me sweat. Loved it and think I will save energy doing the kettlebells so I can save my best efforts for my running. (I do realize that I get very distracted at home and should stick with classes to get motivated but oh well, I need to rest once in a while!) Made a new smart coach plan today. I listed my true PR of 2:02 for a half marathon because I figured I better go legit and stop pushing myself faster than I can go. I also listed my weekly distance milage at 31-35 miles, training at a "Hard" intensity level. I hope I can stick to it without wigging or getting injured too badly!
Happy to get my honey bee stingers and sport shield today in the mail--oh and my salt tablets. I've never tried them but my friend Erin swears by them for races.
